Aomi Construction Co., Ltd. was established in April 2008 as a result of the merger of Saeki Construction Industry Co., Ltd. and Japan Industrial Land Development Co., Ltd.The origins of Aomi Construnction Co., Ltd. date back to our founding in 1917.In 2017, the company celebrated its 100th anniversary.We have built up several achievements in various fields of civil engineering, such as road and railway construction and water and sewerage improvement in addition to marine civil engineering, such as port improvement and reclamation work and artificial island construction.Soil improvement work is a specialized technology that has developed into a business that characterizes our company today.It is a great pleasure to be able to grow and develop into what we are today, one of the best marine constructors in Japan. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our stakeholders for their support.
The construction industry has an important mission to support the safety, security, and comfort of the people of Japan, and to carry out economic activities to "improve the social and livelihood infrastructure". Our company's Corporate Philosophy, paragraph 1 states, "Contributing to society through technology".We will continue to be a company that contributes to society by improving our technological capabilities, enhancing public trust and reputation, and developing safe and high-quality infrastructure.
We will take advantage of these two strengths, "marine engineering" and "soil improvement" and challenge ourselves with new things along with enterprising spirit for the next 100 years. We will develop safer construction methods with less environmental impact and promote the development of technologies to improve productivity in response to the needs of society.We will respond to changes in the market environment with diversity, including new entries into overseas businesses. We will work to enhance our corporate value by deepening and broadening the scope of our construction business.
